EnergySafe Victoria states commercial kitchen equipment must be installed and certified according to Australian Standard AS/NZS 5601.1 Gas Installations Part 1.
There are a number of mandatory requirements for hose assemblies such as being as short as practicable, maximum operating pressure and temperature (depending on working temperature and certified as confirming with Australian Standard AS/NSZ Hose and Hose Assemblies.
Appliance connections and restraints must be installed depending on the setup of the hose assembly. Acceptable restraints must be installed too.

Where applicable, every item listed in EnergySafe’s checklist will be checked and serviced.
A certificate of gas safety will be supplied at the completion of every job.
All tests are completed to Australian Standard AS/NZS 5601.1:2013. Digital compliance trail will be retained as required by legislation.
